YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

This internship will take place in Gif-Sur-Yvette, at our Research and Innovation center starting from September 2026. Theresia Junaidi, Taste Design Senior Technologist in the team of Advanced Technology Ingredients will guide tour through your day to day tasks and help you grow in your role:
* Conduct a rigorous literature review in taste and flavour science that synthesizes both existing evidence and new internal data.
* Build foundational expertise in taste mechanisms and translate insights into viable technology solutions.
* Develop deep ingredients and related sensory impact knowledge across plant-based and dairy applications.
* Design and run a comprehensive experimental plan to validate hypotheses-including lab applications across diverse food matrices, and structured sensory testing series.
* Partner effectively with cross-functional internal teams-Advanced Technology (Ingredients & Process), Advanced UX, Advanced Science, Europe, and North America.
* Cultivate strategic relationships across the external ecosystem (suppliers, startups, institutes, etc.) to accelerate innovation.

For this position, we are looking for someone:
* Available from September 2026 for a duration of 1 year
* Currently pursuing a Bac+4/5 level degree at a university or engineering school, specializing in food technology with a focus on flavour design
* Knowledgeable in food formulation and ingredients
* Aware of basic good laboratory practices and possess experience working in laboratory
* Knowledgeable in physical-chemical analysis of food matrices. Prior experience is a plus
* Familiar with sensory evaluation methodology is a plus
* Well-organized, efficient, dynamic and creative
* A team player with collaborative mindset, but also capable of working independently
* Fluent in both French and English for oral and written communication
* Experienced with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint). Knowledge of statistics tools is a plus " descriptionHeader="
