Job Description

You will join our team, which is looking for a Regulatory and Green & Sustainable Finance Analyst, for a 1-year apprenticeship starting in September 2026.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main missions will be:
* Content Creation: Thematic research, writing articles or studies, including client case studies (e.g., Q&A on European regulations for ESG agencies).
* Contribute to services, products, and advice provided to CIB clients on various themes (biodiversity, assessment of transition plans, fossil fuel phase-out), particularly regarding the impact of regulations on their activities and financing conditions (e.g., the impact of CBAM on value chains and competitiveness, CSRD developments within the European Omnibus framework).
* Responsible for the monthly production of the regulatory watch newsletter on sustainable finance, in collaboration with the team's dedicated expert: collecting news, summarizing.
* Support GSH origination activities:
* Developing eligibility criteria for projects, activities, or companies backed by sustainable/green financing.
* Creating impact assessment and reporting tools.
* Creating new products or mechanisms (e.g., debt for development swaps).
* Support the GSH syndication team by maintaining market intelligence with investors (dialogue, thematic surveys, or questionnaires), analyzing investor-specific regulatory provisions (e.g., ESMA guidelines on fund naming).
* Contribute to methodological developments for Natixis's proprietary investment solutions (thematic equity indices).
* Support the team during advisory missions (alignment with SDGs for DFIs, design of impact or thematic investment strategies).

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at Bac+5 level, you are pursuing a degree with a specialization in sustainable development and/or green finance/ESG.

You have solid foundations in economics, finance, law, and a strong interest in sustainable development topics.

You possess excellent writing skills. You distinguish yourself through your analytical and synthesis capabilities. You have a strong interest in public and regulatory policy issues and the analysis of their impacts. Ideally, you are familiar with CSRD, SFDR, European Taxonomy regulations and their interconnection. You easily link themes (e.g., climate, biodiversity, inequalities) with frameworks (methodologies, sustainable finance regulations...) and their practical deployment within the scope of financial transactions or products, combining analytical, commercial, and practical sense. Ideally, a first experience in sustainable development/ESG/SRI, green finance, consulting, or sustainable finance regulation
