Job Description

You are joining our Global Trade syndication/distribution team who is looking for a Assistant Loan Syndication for an alternation of 2 years from September 2026.
You will work within the Global Trade syndication/distribution team which is in charge of distributing syndicated credits, guarantees and letters of credit (LC) for the bank's clients in the commodities sector (oil and gas, mining and metals and agricultural products) and international trade. The team comprises 4 people and covers the entire EMEA area. You will be under the responsibility of Daniela Cortina, the team leader and you will be in contact with several internal departments (Global Trade department, sales teams ...) and with banks and external investors.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
* Participate in the development of commercial presentations with a view to obtaining a mandate, including in particular the analysis of the market environment, the syndication strategy (liquidity analysis) and the pricing of operations;
* Participate in the preparation of internal documents presenting the syndication of the operation (syndication opinion, syndication strategy, closing memo of the operation...);
* Participate in each step of the operations syndication: preparation of invitations for banks or investors, management of the question/answer process during the syndication, allocations, communication, league tables (...);
* Be in charge of market monitoring in the different geographical areas (Russia & CIS, Africa, Middle East), analyzing comparable transactions, periodic synthesis to structuring teams, maintaining syndication follow-ups and databases.

This apprenticeship will allow you to acquire a good knowledge of structured financing, the syndication market and study very varied sectors of activity in different geographical markets (Europe, Africa, Middle East ...).
You will work in collaboration with many stakeholders: teams of origination of raw material financing, interaction with mostly Anglo-Saxon stakeholders, investors (banks and institutional investors), co-arrangers, sales teams and secondary sales desk of the bank, legal and compliance teams.

Student at the Bac+4 level, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in Finance.
