Location: Pune, India

About the programme:
This 12-month apprenticeship, under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, provides valuable on-the-job training; Please note, there is no obligation for permanent employment with Deutsche Bank Group upon completion of the Apprenticeship Training tenure.

Role Description
An engineering role responsible for development & testing for implementation of strategic future state technology landscape for all DWS Corporate Functions globally. Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in requirement understanding, development, testing and implementation of solutions which are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall landscape

Your key responsibilities
* Will get involved with hands-on code development
* Thorough testing of developed software
* Do code review of other team members
* Participate and manage daily stand-up meetings
* Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
* Analyse software defects and fix them in timely manner
* Supports testing on behalf of users, operations, and testing teams potentially including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing, between different applications, when required.

Your skills and experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline (or equivalent)
* Should have learnt core Java, Python, database technologies as part of course curriculum
* High analytical capabilities
* Proven communication skills
* Must be an effective problem solver
* Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
* Identifying and escalating problems at an early stage
* Flexibility and willingness to work autonomously
* Self-motivated within set competencies in a team and fast paced environments
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Any exposure to React JS or Angular JS will be plus
* Any exposure to Google Cloud technologies will be plus
