An apprenticeship opportunity titled Apprentice Engineer - Integration, Test and Analytics has just opened at Airbus India located in Bengaluru. You will join the Integration and Flight Test Analysis department in charge of Integration and Flight test.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in July 2026 (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :
* Tool Development & Coding: Assist in designing and maintaining software tools (primarily in Python) to parse data, automate workflows, and link various aerospace systems.
* Simulation & Data Replay: Support the integration of flight data into simulators (e.g., transforming CSV data for 3D environment replay) to aid in incident analysis and system visualization.
* Test Execution & Analysis: Execute system-level tests on integration benches or simulators, analyze the results for anomalies, and document findings under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Innovation & AI Exploration: Collaborate on initiatives to implement Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI concepts to reduce manual testing efforts and improve predictive analysis.

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:
* Software & AI Development: Proficiency in Python and software architecture, with hands-on experience applying Machine Learning and Generative AI to automate workflows and optimize industrial processes.
* Aerospace Domain Knowledge: A functional understanding of aircraft subsystems (flight controls, avionics, navigation) and flight data analysis, bridging the gap between coding and aviation physics.
* Simulation & Data Engineering: Expertise in transforming raw Flight Data Recorder (FDR) inputs into 3D simulation replays, including data mapping and interacting with simulator environments.
* System Verification & Automation: Mastery of the engineering testing lifecycle, moving from manual test procedure execution to building scalable, automated test frameworks for complex systems.

Eligibility Criteria:
* You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in 2025 / 2026.
* Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).
* Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :
* Programming Logic: Good conceptual understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Proficiency in Python is essential. Familiarity with C, C++, or C# is a plus.
* Data Handling: Basic ability to work with data formats (CSV, JSON, XML) and an interest in data processing or mapping logic.
* Foundational AI/ML Knowledge: Academic understanding or project experience with Machine Learning basics, Computer Vision (OCR), or Generative AI concepts is highly desirable.
* Testing Fundamentals: Theoretical knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) or system verification processes.
* Tools: Basic familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard engineering documentation tools.

- Soft Skills :
* Learning Agility: A strong curiosity and willingness to learn complex aerospace standards, simulator environments, and new technologies (AI/GenAI).
* Analytical Mindset: Attention to detail with a logical approach to problem-solving and debugging code or processes.
* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a diverse team of system engineers, developers, and testers.
* Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to document test results and explain technical concepts to mentors.
* Passion for Aerospace: A genuine interest in aviation, flight simulators, or aircraft systems is key to enjoying this role.
