Job Description Summary
As a Biomedical Engineering Trainee, you will be assigned to a Service Area within the UK to begin a two-year trainee programme, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role at GE HealthCare upon successful completion. In this role, you will maintain and repair medical equipment from the GE HealthCare portfolio at customer sites within your assigned Service Area.

Working alongside a team of experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience with biomedical equipment and be supported by a dedicated mentor throughout your development journey. The two-year programme combines structured product training delivered at one of our service locations with day-to-day, on-the-job training alongside experienced field engineers.

To support you in your role, a laptop, mobile phone, and toolkit will be provided.

Job Description

Fixed-Term Contract: 2 Years | Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Site-Based in London, UK

Responsibilities:
* Take direction from and balance the needs of the Biomed Team Leaders and Account Manager to support the contract and achieve KPIs.
* Demonstrate initiative within the working environment and support team members whenever required.
* Comply with GE HealthCare leadership behaviours.
* Adhere to local and global Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintain a strong commitment to quality and comply with local and global Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Qualifications:
* Recent graduate with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience working in clinical environments.
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies and industry standards.
* Willingness to travel to different customer sites and support the wider team.
* Strong interest in technology and ambition to build a career in medical equipment service and support.
* Excellent communication skills.
