Job Description:

A new role is created for a Sales and Market Analyst position reporting into the new ViGo Bioenergy, enabling graduate candidates to get immersed in a P&L driven environment and develop core analytical skills. ViGo is focussed on sourcing and delivering biofuels into the transport sector, and this is a great chance to work in a fast-growing market environment whilst integrating into the Vitol culture and organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director in this start-up environment, the Sales and Marketing Analyst responsibilities include analysing UK and global market trends, reviewing competitive companies and technologies, and studying complex data from inside and outside the organisation. To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable with processing and analysing marketing data. You will also help us as well as manage and attend our industry events
Tasks
* Analyse sales funnels and customer intent.
* Analyse biogas markets across road transport - history trends, recommendations.
* Track and analyse sales volumes and forecasts for internal reporting.
* Measure ROI of operations and results during the growth phase of the business and beyond.
* Using Salesforce, report on sales KPIs like leads and conversion rates, and improve pipeline creation quality.
* Work with sales team to develop proposals.
* Work with sales team to develop business cases for project planning and deployment.
* Work alongside marketing to recommend website and any campaign optimisations.
* Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition.
* Visit customers as well as existing gas delivery station sites with sales team.
* Attend industry events and conferences.
* Communicate with customers on pricing information and assist with new customer set up on internal systems.

Qualifications:

* Graduate degree with an excellent academic record, preferably in an analytical discipline.
* Good quantitative and analytical capability and comfort with Excel.
* Clear understanding of valuation concepts.
