Job title: Yes Health Safety & Environment Graduate
Location: Port Elizabeth
Reports to: FCM HSE & Security Manager
Contract: 12 months contract as part of our Graduate program

Your mission, roles and responsibilities


The HSE Graduate is responsible for guiding management regarding HSE processes and requirements to ensure legal compliance per legislation and the application of the Group's HSE policy and procedures.
The main missions will be to gain development and learning on the following:
* Conduct internal HSE measurements, inspections, and audits to analyse the site's risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect for the environment.
* Propose and annual HSE action plan to the Site Management.
* Coach and support the plant management and deploy in HSE practices and requirements.
* Participate in Faurecia's HSE network and deploy all HSE Standards within the organization.
* Monitor and ensure implementation of legal compliance and manage the site's relations with local government and regulatory organizations.
* Monitor the reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data,…).
* Organise and drive HSE audits and trainings.
* Perform accident/incident investigations.

Your profile and competencies to succeed


The ideal graduate will have/be:
* NDiploma or B- Tech in Industrial Engineering or Health, Safety & Environment.
* Knowledge and experience in auomotive environment.
* Knowledge of HSE tools and methods : AMDEC, 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
* Knowledge of legal requirements.
* Competency in MS Office;(Excel & Word)
* Age between 18-35
* Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before
