GLN CM Agile Team
Contract Management Agile team is part of our Legal and Commercial Services. Our professionals bring innovative ideas to commercial reality with a focus on maximising value for all parties through a deep understanding of legal, business and commercial risks. We work alongside Accenture sales and delivery teams throughout the integration period of an acquired entity and the client contract negotiation and contract mobilization phase. We also support on an agile basis the projects that may need remediation and/or commercial support.
We apply commercial and contractual expertise to lead the delivery of legal & commercial outcomes for our priority engagements, including:
* Sales growth: expanding the footprint of our agreements and supporting new business;
* Revenue protection: delivering on our contractual commitments;
* Margin improvement: effectively managing commercial levers, risks and issues; and
* Compliance with Accenture policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

I Post Merger Integration ("PMI") activities

* Perform and manage PMI activities for integrations of medium/high complexity types aligned to Accenture's acquisition/integration strategy.
* Work with internal and acquired integration leadership to understand integration needs and priorities, integration strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
* Act as a positive change agent in support of the acquired entities' transition into Accenture.

II Sales, Mobilization and Remediation activities
* Perform and manage Sales, Mobilization and Remediation activities for complex, strategic and high focus Client projects. This shall include:
* Understand the business solution and needs to be able to assist with drafting and review of contractual documents (i.e., Statements of Work, Change Requests, Arrangement Letters, Subcontracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements (not exclusive, etc.) and collaborating with other internal organizations, under direction of a contract management lead where appropriate,
* Provide support for pre-award sales activities including supporting the development of responses to client RFPs or similar, working with business to draft contract schedules and participate in negotiations; and
* Demonstrate basic knowledge of Accenture's offerings and associated commercial considerations.
* Understand, document and report contractual risks and issues; be able to identify and implement mitigations. Escalate to leadership as and when needed.
* Working with solutioning, transition, legal, delivery, finance and other internal and external teams to help them understand contractual commitments and delivering per the same.

Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in law
* Membership: Member of World Commerce and Contracting (previously International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM)) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and/ or professional certification considered a plus.

Work Requirements:
* Travel may be required.
* Fluency in English and any other language(s) depending on geography supported.
* Experience in M&A Practice will be preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
* Preferably 8 years' + of experience at law firm and/or as in-house counsel and experience in coordinating a group of work and or experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex / risky deals.
* Knowledge of M&A transactions, due diligence revisions, general corporate business practices, commercial contracting regulations, subcontracting practices, accounting and finance principles; and ability to apply skills creatively to diverse stakeholder needs.
* Display understanding of regulatory environment in terms of PMI and Client services, and potential delivery risks, to be able to communicate effectively with project managing directors and provide efficient advice.
* Ability to effectively communicate with executives at all levels of the organization.
* Good time-management, prioritization, organizational, problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrates ability to consistently undertake contract review and drafting to a reasonable standard with limited external inputs.
* Displays a high level of responsiveness and follows through on commitments.
* Detail-oriented, sound judgement, organized, and flexible.
* Requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

* Supervises and mentors team members providing services on a process/project or account/portfolio of Accounts
* Assist with assessing training and education needs for junior staff on a specific project or account, when operating as the contract management lead; and
* External Relationships: Client commercial, procurement, contract management, business executives, outside counsels, vendors, corporate functions.
