Reporting to the CNC Milling and/or Turning Supervisors, the CNC Red Seal Operator will be responsible for operating CNC Milling and/or Turning Centers, following specifications outlined in operation sheets, and ensuring safe, efficient operations while upholding high product quality standards. The ideal candidate must be available to work flexible shifts as needed.

What You Will Do:
* Set up and operate multi-spindle, multi-axis CNC mill-turn lathe machines with minimal supervision.
* Follow setup procedures to mount fixtures and establish work coordinates.
* Apply in-depth knowledge of cutting tools, including selecting appropriate speeds and feeds.
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and apply geometrical dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).
* Operate and utilize CMM (coordinate measuring machines) for inspection purposes.
* Perform precise inspections using metrology tools and gauges to ensure part accuracy.
* Utilize strong mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry for machining tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production standards and ensure product quality.

Qualifications You Must Have:
* Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
* Certification of Apprenticeship or Qualification in Tool and Die Maker and/or General Machinist.
* 2-5 years of experience working in a CNC machine shop environment with extremely close tolerances.
* Ability to efficiently set up machines for complex parts.
* Effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government's Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. The starting rate for this position is $28.30/hour. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
