The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Assurance Transformation team, under our Audit & Assurance Line of Service. Our Assurance Transformation team provides custom automation solutions to our audit teams using the latest innovations and technologies in data analytics and automation. The use of such automations brings efficiencies to the audit engagement teams and value to the client.

Assurance Transformation has three main areas of focus: enhanced audit quality, client insight, and automation. You'll be working with some of the latest innovations and technologies in data analytics and automation, including cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities, transforming unintelligible collections of data from clients into actionable insights that bring efficiencies to audit engagement teams and value to the client.

Your Responsibilities

* Support data collection, preparation and cleansing with the use of specialised tools to improve data quality for better decision making

* Problem solve critical client and audit challenges using data analytics, automation, and AI to deliver valued results

* Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information

* Assist in the review of the underlying data to ensure it fits for business purposes

* Design and build automated workflows in Alteryx to streamline repetitive audit procedures

* Develop visually compelling Power BI dashboards and presentations that communicate insights to stakeholders

* Leverage Generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatPwC) through effective prompt engineering to accelerate analysis and documentation

* Analyse data from multiple systems to identify trends and extract valuable insights through data visualization

* Document analytics procedures and findings to support audit evidence and quality review requirements

* Support the development and delivery of training programs to upskill assurance professionals in new tools, technologies, and methodologies

What You Bring

* A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Data Analytics/Information Technology/Computer Science, Data Science, or similar quantitative discipline

* Although not essential, a secondary qualification in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering disciplines will be highly regarded. We value demonstrated skills and practical experience, and encourage applications from candidates with non-traditional backgrounds who have strong technical capabilities

* Beginner to intermediate level skills in Alteryx and/or Power BI

* Strong understanding of data structures, data quality issues, and data transformation techniques

* Interest in and aptitude for learning Generative AI tools and prompt engineering techniques

* Good knowledge of Office Productivity tools

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work as part of a team

* Energetic and positive individuals with strong interpersonal skills, self motivation, professional discipline and excellent analytical skills

* Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management

* Ability to work within firm deadlines and manage competing priorities

* Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language

What Sets You Apart

* Experience in coding solutions using other programming languages (e.g. Python, VBA, R)

* Experience with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) and prompt engineering for data analysis

* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks

* Exposure to data analytics methodologies and audit concepts (control testing, sampling, exception analysis)

* Familiarity with document extraction tools such as ABBYY OCR solutions

* A solid understanding of financial matters, accounting principles, and business terminology
