About the job

We are looking for an experienced Quality & Food Safety Manager to ensure superior quality and food safety across the Denmark, Norway & Iceland markets. In this interim role, you will lead quality and food safety (QFS) performance across projects, with factories, and supply chain partners, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Please note that this is a temporary position until 31st of December 2026.

Key responsibilities
* Maintain superior quality and food safety in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
* Develop, implement, and maintain a robust NORBAL QFS management system
* Act as QFS SPOC in projects, driving actions based on risk analysis
* Monitor market execution through KPIs and ensure robust end-to-end value chain processes
* Drive quality performance with factories within scope and lead continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure QFS requirements are formalized with suppliers, logistics partners, customers and other external providers
* Safeguard food safety and quality across the full distribution chain
* Manage quality incidents, including RCA, CAPA, risk assessments, withdrawals and recalls
* Support engagement with local food authorities and other relevant bodies
* Work closely with Consumer Careline Teams when QFS support is required
* Validate Value-Added-Logistics instructions together with relevant functions
* Promote a strong quality culture through stakeholder engagement and education initiatives

* Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems
* Experience in quality management, compliance monitoring and certification processes
* Strong capability in process development, continuous improvement, and problem solving
* Proven experience leading quality and food safety in projects and cross-functional environments
* Experience working with FMCG (dairy/plant based/waters, or food for special medical purposes and/or medical devices is an advantage
* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, digitally fluent, with strong Microsoft Office skills
* Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
* Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel
* Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in the team of senior Quality & Food Safety Managers and across teams and with internal and external stakeholders
* Fluency in English and Danish is required; Norwegian language skills are considered a plus" descriptionHeader="
