We are looking for an Internal Controller & Operational Risks F/M to join AXA Partners Risk Department. What you'll be doing: You are within the CLP Business Unit responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of operational and Internal financial Control. Your role involves assessing risks, implementing and updating internal controls, and monitoring adherence to policies and regulations to safeguard operational processes and support strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of control measures, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with management to implement corrective actions. You play a vital role in promoting a culture of risks and controls within CLP. Your key responsibilities will be: Coordinate and perform the controls according to the control plan across CLP BU. Review regularly the Control Objective and risk coverage across CLP BU. Create and follow up the action plan to ensure effective risk remediation. Actively participate in the identification of risk through risk mapping. Make sure of the proper application of the escalation policy by the teams. Perform the IFC controls testing according to the request of AXA France. Identify and calculate Internal Control KPI to follow the achievement. Analyze, provide first opinion and Follow the Business and Risk Acceptance request from business. Perform Vendors Risk Assessment for the critical deals. What you'll bring: First experience working within the Internal control, Audit or Risk team or a regulated insurance company or group. Understanding and experience of insurance regulatory framework. Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English and French. Listening skills and ability to influence with persuasive skills and a high level of personal integrity. Critical thinking and good analytical skills. Excellent proficiency with the IT environment (Microsoft Office). Proficiency of VBA is a solide plus.
