Working Student (m/f/d) - Automotive Radar Simulation & AI

Do you want your code to actually matter? As a Working Student in the SIMULIA EMAG R&D team at Dassault Systèmes, you'll contribute to real AI and simulation research for automotive radar and ADAS applications - supporting projects that matter to some of the biggest names in the automotive industry.

Role Description & Responsibilities

* You will build 3D geometry models representing real-world Automotive Radar & ADAS scenarios
* You will run electromagnetic simulations using the Asymptotic Solver in CST Studio Suite and analyze KPIs
* You will generate synthetic training datasets from simulation results to support machine learning models
* You will develop and optimize ML-based workflows to enhance radar functionality and performance
* You will collaborate with senior engineers and researchers on high-priority R&D projects
* You will support integration of simulation and ML workflows into research pipelines for automotive radar applications

Qualifications

* You are currently enrolled as a Master's student in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* You have solid Python programming skills for simulation data processing and workflow automation
* You are familiar with radar fundamentals and signal processing concepts
* You have hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST Studio Suite (optional but a plus)
* You have knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks
* You are experienced in C/C++ programming and are curious, initiative-driven, and motivated to tackle complex technical problems
