We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the team that contributes to a variety of products and projects that include application designing, application development and integrations with our Asset Management, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and software distribution services. We manage large volumes of devices (macOS, iOS, and tvOS) and support diverse business units with unique needs-including new opportunities through AI-powered automation.
The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for guiding the team's software development work. Working closely with business partners to capture requirements and translate them into deliverable projects. Support the team in evaluating, maintaining, and improving the existing code base. Foster a collaborative environment where engineers can learn and apply software engineering best practices to their work. You will lead a team of engineers across the full software lifecycle, from planning to delivery. You'll help remove blockers, facilitate discussions, and ensure your team has what they need to succeed. You'll also partner with peers across the organization to align on technical roadmaps and business priorities.
Experience leading technical teams or projects Understanding of software development and system design Knowledge of programming languages like Go, Java, Swift, Python or Javascript Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly
Previous management or technical leadership experience Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) Knowledge of enterprise systems is a bonus Experience with Asset Management or MDM solutions Interest in exploring how AI tools can improve efficiency and scale services
