Sales Representative - Outdoor Running (Altra Running, Central & Southern Italy)

To support our continued growth in Italy, we are looking for a passionate and commercially driven Sales Representative (Outdoor Running) to develop the business across Central & Southern Italy.

How You Will Make a Difference

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of wholesale accounts while strengthening Altra's presence within the running and outdoor community.
You will serve as the primary commercial contact for your territory, building strategic partnerships with retailers, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring outstanding brand execution both in-store and in the local market.
You will turn commercial strategy into strong in-market execution by focusing on the following key priorities:

* Managing and growing wholesale accounts across Central & Southern Italy.
* Building strong relationships with retailers and key decision-makers.
* Delivering seasonal and annual sales targets in line with Country and EMEA strategy.
* Executing the seasonal Go-To-Market process, ensuring strong sell-in and sell-through.
* Identifying new business opportunities and driving profitable account growth.
* Ensuring excellent brand visibility, merchandising, and in-store execution.
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities.
* Supporting local marketing activations, retail events, races, demo days, and community initiatives.
* Delivering product and brand training to retail staff and partners.
* Acting as a brand ambassador, strengthening Altra's presence within the running and outdoor community.

Skills for Success
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or a similar commercial role.
* Experience within the running, outdoor, sporting goods, footwear, or performance apparel industry is highly preferred. Candidates with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for running, trail running, and the outdoor lifestyle are also encouraged to apply.
* Strong knowledge of the Italian running and outdoor market.
* Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and influence key stakeholders.
* Strong commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to travel extensively across Central & Southern Italy.
*
Fluent in Italian, both written and spoken, with professional working proficiency in English.
