Material Handling Supervisor (Material Area Supervisor)

Descrizione del lavoro:

Strategic Goal: Deliver consistent and safe material delivery performance to production lines, enabling maximum throughput and operational efficiency.

* Supervise hourly material handling employees to support production.

* Manage line-side inventory replenishment and equipment operation.

* Report on area safety, quality, and throughput.

* Partner with union leadership on workforce issues.

* Enforce PIV safety and preventive maintenance standards.

* Drive Lean/SIS implementation and staff performance.

EDUCATION:

* Minimum: Engineer degree (Industrial / Logistics/ Supply Chain)

* Preferred: Experience (1-2+ years) in warehouse/plant logistics

* Bonus: Certifications (forklift, safety, supply chain)

LANGUAGES - English 60% (Intermediate +)

SKILLS: solid grasp of how materials flow through a plant

* Operational Skills (Logistics areas optimization /FIFO /Inventory management, delivery methods, safety regulation, KPI improvements)

* Continuous improvement (Lean principles, Kaizen, 5S/5T, problem solving & decision-making)

* Safety principles

* Leadership & Team management (communication, coaching, discipline, Supervising forklift operators, handlers, and warehouse staff)
