But could you be the one ensuring our kitchens run smoothly, safely, and to the highest hygiene standards every day? We're searching for a Stewarding Manager to lead our stewarding operations and support our culinary and food & beverage teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
● Managing the daily operations of the stewarding department to ensure kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards
● Supervising and motivating stewarding colleagues to deliver efficient and organized support to culinary and food & beverage operations
● Ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, chinaware, glassware, and operating equipment are cleaned, stored, and maintained properly
● Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and stewarding equipment while maintaining cost control measures
● Coordinating closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage, and Engineering teams to support smooth daily operations and banquet functions
● Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards in line with hotel policies and local regulations
● Assisting with recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of stewarding colleagues
● Supporting waste management and sustainability initiatives aligned with responsible business practices
What We need from you:
● Diploma or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
● Minimum 6-8 years of stewarding or kitchen operations experience within a hotel environment, including managerial experience preferred
● Strong knowledge of stewarding operations, kitchen hygiene, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
● Ability to lead, motivate, and organize teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
● Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
● Familiarity with kitchen operations, banquet support, and inventory management practices preferred
● Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations as required by local law
