Your mission

Support the Pallas Project (Alkmaar, NL) by leading and delivering technical expertise on LAN, communications, telephony, and cybersecurity systems, while also overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring design integrity and compliance for a wide range of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems-both conventional and nuclear. Your role is critical to guaranteeing operational excellence and secure, reliable infrastructure.

You will enjoy 20 statutory vacation days, supplemented by 10 additional non-statutory leave days (based on a full-time work schedule).

Your key responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate contractors for design, implementation, and commissioning of I&C systems.

* Support design acceptance, manage changes, and maintain knowledge integrity.

* Define and validate Pallas requirements, review contractor scope, and mitigate risks.

* Monitor delivery to ensure compliance with requirements, timelines, and budgets.

* Provide technical support on-site for issues and non-conformities.

* Ensure integrated, traceable, and validated design under strict configuration control.

* Review critical documentation (e.g., POSAR) and collaborate across construction, procurement, and quality teams.

* Systems you'll work on:

* Conventional: Building management, LAN, telephony, HVAC, water, gas, fire protection.

* Communications & Cybersecurity: Secure and robust infrastructure.

* Hot Cell & Transfer: Instrumentation for radioisotope and pneumatic systems.

We would love to hear from people with

* Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

* Strong knowledge of LAN, communications, telephony, and cybersecurity.

* Experience in I&C systems engineering is a plus.

* Language: fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

* VGB clearance eligibility will be required
