The role:

We are inviting candidates for a 9-month / 12-month role as a Specialist Programmer I/II. As a Specialist Programmer I / II, you'll be part of a team responsible for protecting patient privacy when clinical data is shared within AstraZeneca / with external partners around the world and for maintaining data anonymisation tools supporting this process.

Key highlights of the role:
* Support day-to-day Data De-identification (DEID) operational tasks
* Help to develop, review, improve, and maintain DEID tools
* Apply coding standards and team guidelines while working on day-to-day tasks Take ownership of delegated tasks, including basic documentation
* Assist with compliance and validation to ensure that systems are ready for audit
* Take ownership of assigned tasks and help maintain clear, basic documentation

Key requirements:

Education & Language:

* Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
* Fluent communication in spoken and written English.

Required skills:

* Programming:
* SAS/Python or another programming language
* Experience in developing utilities and tools

* General understanding of:
* Data analysis and reporting
* Data management within Clinical Trials
* Data privacy and compliance when working with sensitive information.
