Electrical Supervisor - Sellafield (PPP)

Be part of one of the UK's most critical infrastructure programmes. Lead from the front. Make a real impact.

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) team at Sellafield. This is a key leadership role within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment, where your expertise will directly support the safe and efficient operation of vital electrical systems.

If you're a hands-on electrical professional who enjoys leading teams, driving high standards and working on technically challenging projects of national importance, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level.

The role:

As Electrical Supervisor, you'll take ownership of day-to-day electrical maintenance and project activity, leading electricians and apprentices while ensuring all work is delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be a visible leader on site, coordinating with wider maintenance and engineering teams to plan work, minimise downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations across Sellafield.

What you'll be doing

* Leading and supervising teams of electricians and apprentices across electrical maintenance activities

* Planning, executing and overseeing electrical works and projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

* Overseeing installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems including motors, transformers and control panels

* Ensuring correct glanding, terminating and wiring practices at all times

* Reviewing, inspecting and signing off completed electrical work to ensure quality and compliance

* Enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and site procedures

* Carrying out safety audits, inspections and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement

* Producing accurate records and reports covering maintenance activity, inspections and team performance

* Working closely with maintenance managers, engineers and other supervisors to coordinate activities and avoid disruption

Who we're looking for

Essential experience and qualifications:

* Relevant ECS Grade Card

* Time-served electrician with a recognised apprenticeship

* SMSTS or SSSTS

* IOSH qualification

* Ability to successfully obtain BPSS clearance

You'll also bring strong leadership skills, a proactive safety mindset and the confidence to challenge standards where required.
