Job Description :
The Post Producer role is supervised by the Head of Video and Sound. This position involves working both independently and as part of a team to produce post-production projects. The Post Producer has experience across creative processes including video editing, animation/motion design, basic VFX, graphics, and video finishing.

Responsibilities

* Work independently or as part of the existing Post Producer team to break down project needs, create bids, produce projects, and reconcile post-production work.
* Field incoming project requests and briefs from stakeholders, gathering all necessary information to generate production plans, bids, and budgets.
* Request, break down, and interpret bid specifications (or proactively ask questions when specs are incomplete), agency calendars and timelines, creative decks and references, target budget ranges, and any unique project requirements.
* Manage day-to-day production needs for each project, including regular communication with studio clients such as project managers, internal operators, freelance artists (editors, animators, audio engineers, etc.), and finance departments.
* Write, adjust, track, and actualize bids from initial project scoping through final delivery.
* Identify when to escalate matters or seek guidance.
* Oversee financial aspects of projects, including job setup, generating purchase orders (POs), and final project reconciliation.
* Attend and document project briefings and kickoffs.
* Set up meetings, track attendance, and take notes.
* Provide general studio support, with the willingness and ability to assist colleagues as needed.
