Your impact
We're seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Building Mechanical/ HVAC Systems to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team across the country. You'll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today's challenges.
As part of our team, you'll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
You'll be responsible for developing design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) as well as providing system design calculations and other related design services. You will coordinate closely with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers. You'll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects.
You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish to meet the needs of our clients.
You'll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

Here's what you'll need
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline
* Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
* EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of start
Ideally, you'll also have
* Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
* Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
