Well Planner II - Drilling Services

Job Overview:
The Well Planner II supports the development of well plans and engineering designs to enable safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations. The role works closely with senior engineers, drilling teams, and clients to contribute to well design, planning activities, and operational execution.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of well plans, including trajectories, drilling programs
* Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations (e.g., hydraulics, torque & drag)
* Support the operational schedules
* Analyze offset well data to support planning and optimization
* Collaborate with drilling supervisors and engineers.
* Identify potential risks and support mitigation planning
* Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
* Prepare technical documentation, End of Well Report , and well programs
* Provide support to ongoing drilling operations when required
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills:
* Basic understanding of well planning and drilling engineering principles
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and develop in a technical environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven setting
* Proficiency in Turkish, English; additional languages are a plus
* Familiarity with engineering or drilling software is an advantage
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in petroleum/ Reservoir Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 1+ year of experience in drilling engineering, well planning, or related field
* Basic knowledge of drilling operations and well design concepts
* Exposure to oil & gas industry practices (internships or field experience considered)
* Proficiency in Turkish, English; additional languages are a plus
