* Management and development of the sensor sub-project in all technically relevant aspects (requirements management, costs, safety, deadlines, functions, quality,...)
* Responsible for sensor design development in the central Research & Development department together with the sensor supplier
* Support for detailed sensor cost calculation
* Responsible for sensor design and project coordination with "Customer Business Units", "Operating Units" and "Research & Development" departments
* Responsible for the coordination of the sensor BQEE team throughout the project (sourcing, quality, purchasing, development)
* Coordination of internal and supplier meetings and participation in customer meetings
* Control of sensor drawings
* Create and approve component schedule, monitor and coordinate internally and with suppliers
* Coordination of sensor prototype requirements planning, prototype delivery, prototype testing and test evaluation during the acquisition phase
* Monitoring interactions with the overall system (initial design and change management)
* Main technical contact person towards supplier
* Responsible for coordination of all sensor testing and measurement activities, internal and external
* Customer requirements analysis, preparation of component specification and component development

* Independent implementation of his tasks
* Adherence to deadlines and assertiveness
* Project management: consider costs / deadlines / technology / quality operationally
* Product management: complexity management, cost calculations, product - and portfolio management
* Broad overview of functional solutions, manufacturing processes and product complexity
* Expertise in problem-solving methods: DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone, Ishikawa, etc.
* University or UAS degree (Bachelor / Master) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
* Very good English skills
* Ability to work in a team
