The Position

Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

Are you ready to join a global network spanning 20+ countries, where bright minds collaborate to tackle real-world challenges in Innovation & Sustainability? Do you want to work on impactful projects, shape the future, and drive change from within?

In this internship, you will contribute to a high-impact project in Brazil that aims to quantify the years of life lost and the socioeconomic impact of breast cancer mortality linked to treatment non-adherence in Porto Alegre. Working with real-world patient cohort data from Hospital South area of Brazil, you will help turn clinical and mortality insights into a clear Value of Innovation narrative that supports public policy discussions and Roche Brazil's Health System Shaping strategy. Within the first 3 months, you will support the development of a data analysis report, an economic impact calculator, an advocacy toolkit, and a strategic roadmap for scaling the approach to other regions or institutions in Brazil. This project directly supports Roche's sustainability priority of improving equitable health outcomes by generating evidence that can help shift the perception of health from a cost to a societal investment. It is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of public health, policy, data, and innovation while contributing to improved access for breast cancer patients.

The Opportunity

* Review internal affiliate data, global project assets, and local insights to identify evidence gaps and opportunities for the Brazil-specific narrative
* Coordinate meetings and information exchange with external stakeholders, including medical experts and partner organizations, ensuring professional communication and alignment
* Support internal compliance, privacy, and governance processes to ensure the project meets Roche Brazil standards, including LGPD requirements
* Assist in the processing and descriptive analysis of patient cohort data, with a focus on mortality trends and age-based segmentation
* Contribute to socioeconomic impact modeling to assess productivity loss related to treatment non-adherence and translate outcomes into health investment metrics
* Develop communication materials such as executive summaries, infographics, and slide decks to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for public stakeholders
* Prepare recommendations on how the adherence-measurement framework could be scaled to other therapeutic areas, regions, or institutions in Brazil

Who You Are

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA program, and are highly motivated to apply your academic knowledge in a modern work environment during a minimum 3-month internship.

Furthermore you are

* Experienced in project coordination and data organization, with strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of health economics, descriptive statistics, and healthcare decision-making concepts such as Health Technology Assessment (HTA)
* Comfortable working with data analysis and socioeconomic modeling; familiarity with R or Python, data visualization tools, and presentation development is an advantage
* Knowledgeable about data privacy, governance, and compliance requirements, ideally including familiarity with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and its application to sensitive health data
* Fluent in Portuguese and advanced in English, with strong communication skills for working with local stakeholders and the global #IP2TIS community
* A structured, proactive, and reliable team player with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across matrix teams

If you meet most but not all qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.
