Role description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our design and engineering consultancy team. This role offers hands on experience in planning, designing, and delivering engineering solutions for a wide range of projects. The intern will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers, gaining exposure to consultancy workflows, client requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create some of the world's most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

Role accountabilities:
* Support the preparation of engineering drawings, design layouts, and technical documentation
* Assist in developing design calculations, feasibility studies, and project reports
* Help review design standards, codes, and project specifications
* Contribute to drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
* Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and documentation for client meetings
* Perform research on materials, design methods, and engineering best practices
* Perform administrative and documentation tasks related to the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Basic understanding of civil design principles, site development, and infrastructure systems
* Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design tools (preferred but not required)
* Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
* Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a consultancy environment
* Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to real project work
