We are now looking for a

Summer Trainee, Elevator Mechanics

to work with suitable agile team in Elevator Mechanics & Light Materials agile teams in Hyvinkää R&D office, Finland. Teams are maintaining and creating elevator mechanic sub-systems for elevators.
Work is mainly conducted in Hyvinkää R&D facilities, and we expect you to be at the office 4 days a week.

We are looking for a student who has completed approximately 3-5 years of studies and is pursuing a Master of Science degree (in Engineering, Robotics, Materials, or a related field) to join us for a 3-month period between May and September 2026, depending on availability and preference. The assigned tasks will be tailored to your area of developing expertise.

To succeed in this role, you should preferably have:
* Solid knowledge based on studies in your focus area
* Strong understanding of physics and mathematics, particularly the functionality of mechanical subsystems
* Skills in 3D modeling using the Creo environment
* Ability to create manufacturing drawings for mechanical components and subsystems
* A self-driven attitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills in English; fluency in Finnish is considered an asset
* Hobbies or interests related to electromechanical systems are an advantage
