THE CHALLENGE

As a member of the Merchants Business Line team at global level, you will gain international exposure and recognition as a strategy expert supporting Business Units to reach their full potential when partnering with these key stakeholders.

Your mission will be a direct consulting role with Merchants Sales and Operational Marketing of these Business Units.

KEY OBJECTIVES

The merchants' strategy Intern will have 3 core missions:

* Value added services

* Research Merchant Needs: Conduct market analysis, collect merchant feedback, and identify key pain points and opportunities

* Competitive watch: Conduct desk research across our 29 BU to perform competitive search on merchant services (service, product, pricing). Restitution to our top merchant leaders.

* Merchant monitoring: Lead key data requests across our 29 BU, to fill our internal merchant data base. Perform portfolio analysis to fuel adaptation of our merchant strategy

* Ideate & Launch Services: Oversee end-to-end development and deployment of new value-added services aligned with merchants' business objectives

* Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Product, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance teams to pilot and scale solutions

* Track Success: Define metrics to monitor adoption, engagement, and ROI of new services while driving continuous improvements

* Merchant community

* Gather successful projects from BUs to highlight and help in animating the merchants community with +30 countries

* Provide best-practices sharing in key topics to enhance BUs projects

* Animate meetings, structure the drive to enhance tools and practices for the whole community

* Merchant team training

* Build training dedicated to our merchant teams, leveraging internal tool powered with AI

* Organize launch of new training including promotion towards our merchant community

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PROFILE

* Education & experience

* Master from a top business or engineering school, looking for a gap-year or a final-year internship

* A first successful internship experience in consulting, e-commerce payment or similar fast-paced environment is a plus

* Skills

* Motivated team player

* Analytical skills (database analyses, business plan modeling)

* Good business sense

* Strong communication skills (oral, written)

* Rigorous, organized and autonomous

* Languages required

* Fluent in French and English

* Other languages a strong plus: Spanish, Portuguese

EXPECTED START DATE

* Full-time Internship contract (6 months, flexible)

* Starting date: July 2026
