Tesla is advancing humanoid robots for large-scale automation of repetitive tasks. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join the Optimus Powertrain Design team, with a focus on powertrain modeling design to drive innovative robotics solutions.

What You'll Do

* Responsible for developing advanced MATLAB functions to model humanoid powertrain performance, contributing to a multi-physics modeling codebase.
* Perform design optimization studies.
* Process Big Data, extract useful system-level information to aid powertrain design, and visualize the results.

What You'll Bring

* Ongoing Engineering studies (preferably at last year of studies).
* Strong programming skills (Python a/o MATLAB).
* Strong mathematical and physics background.
* Fluency in English.

The following will be considered as plus:

* Understanding of algorithmic techniques and data structures.
* Understanding of optimization fundamentals.
* Understanding of electromagnetics and electric motor design.
* Understanding of mechanical modeling of motion transformation systems.
