Data Visualization & Business Intelligence Intern

At dentsu we are looking for a Data Visualization & BI Intern to join our team in Milan.

Job Description:
Key responsibilities:

* As a member of the Data Visualization Team you will develop attractive and innovative dashboards interacting with external and internal clients to satisfy their needs
* Discover and collect data from heterogeneous data sources, understanding their value and map them to the target/common data model
* Identify & define key business metrics and KPIs in partnership with business stakeholders
* Use different technologies to transform data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling user-centric dashboards that empower data driven insights & decision-making capabilities
* Help final users with tools adoption and active listening to identify new business opportunities
* Use problem solving and strategic thinking to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
* Data-oriented personality and quantitative thinking
* Basic experience and/or knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Datorama), certification is a plus
* Basic ability to use SQL and other Database (NO-SQL) to explore, analyze and validate heterogeneous data sources
* Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL, Stage/Core layer, Dimensional Modelling, Data Marts etc.) and SQL programming
* Passionate for learning and willingness to adopt and share new ideas
* Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently with problem-solving attitude
* Fluent English, written and spoken;
* Advanced Italian, written and spoken (minimum level C2)
