SUPPLY CHAIN INTERN
For our Logistics and Customer Service team in Milan we are looking for an intern.
During your internship you'll collaborate with several Company's departments to develop your analytical skills and to discover competitive dynamics of dairy & ambient products' market. The internship is a support role among Logistics and Customer Service within the Danone Supply Chain. You'll support the team on day by day activities and projects.
Your Role:
In details, you'll be accountable to
* Logistics and Customer Service KPI monitoring and looking for opportunities to increase performances
* To be the interface of the Supply Chain with the sales department always targeting of the search for continuous improvement and efficiency.
* Study the end-to-end O2D process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across order management, delivery planning, and customer interaction workflows.
* Support initiatives aimed at transforming low-value, manual tasks into automated activities through the adoption of new digital tools, system enhancements, or process redesign.
* Analyze operational data (order accuracy, lead times, delivery performance, customer queries, etc.) to generate insights and support decision-making on process improvements.
* Work closely with IT, Supply Chain, Logistics partners, and Customer Service teams to test new solutions, validate process changes, and contribute to the deployment of new systems or automations.
* Contribute to Danone's efficiency roadmap by proposing ideas, supporting pilots, and helping monitor the impact of implemented improvements.
* Provide day-to-day support in customer order management, issue resolution, and logistics coordination, ensuring an excellent customer experience while learning the core activities of the department.
About you
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role, we believe you need to have:
* Master’s degree in Economics or Management Engineering or similar;
* Problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking;
* Structured and analytical way of working;
* Relational skills and flexibility;
* Excel and Power Point knowledge;
* Business Intelligence tool, MS Power BI will be a plus.
* SAP Knowledge will be a plus;
* Fluent in English
