Communications | Multimedia Internship: re-use engineering department

Introduction

ASML is a global leader in the semiconductor industry, driving innovation that powers modern technology. Within ASML, the Re-Use Engineering department focuses on maximizing material reuse from return flows and supporting engineering teams with process design, data, reporting, communication, and change management. You will join the Improvement Engineering group, a dynamic and international team dedicated to improving efficiency and sustainability in material reuse. This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine creativity and technical insight by shaping communication strategies and multimedia content for impactful projects.

Your Assignment

You will help evolve the communication and knowledge-sharing plan for the team, ensuring clear and engaging content for internal stakeholders.
Key deliverables include:
* Improve knowledge-sharing platforms such as SharePoint, newsletters, and PowerPoint templates.
* Create team branding and messaging for new projects.
* Develop multimedia content (videos) for training and communication purposes.
* Support Project Leaders in tracking and reporting on implemented changes.
* Provide administrative support for process improvement projects, including data management.

This is an internship (non-thesis) with a minimal duration of 5 months. It requires an investment of 24-32 hours per week, out of which 2 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. The starting date is flexible, but ideally as soon as possible. Please include a motivation letter in your application.

Your Profile

To be a perfect match you:
* Are a bachelor or master student in Communication, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
* Have experience with multimedia design and tools such as Adobe Premiere and webpage creation (e.g., SharePoint).
* Knowledge of Python or AI tools is a plus.
* Are creative, detail-oriented, and interested in combining artistic skills with technical content creation.
* Communicate effectively and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

Other requirements you need to meet

* You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

* You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you 're currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

* If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
