What To Expect
Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Length: Fulltime (40h a week)
Please note: In order to be considered, you must be enrolled in education for the full duration of the internship.
As the EHS Intern for Commercial Energy Business Development, you will primarily support the EMEA market by assisting the business development team. You will help build systems and tools to accelerate sales bids, support contract reviews to minimise legal exposure to onerous requirements, assist the sales team in preparing proposals for prospective customers, and help strengthen relationships with our growing EMEA customer base.
Working in cross-functional teams, you will gain practical experience contributing to proposals, presentations, and strategies in the sustainable energy sector. This internship suits a motivated learner with good organisational and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and may involve occasional regional travel.
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with the business development team to support EMEA growth strategies, understand customer needs, and identify associated risks, while assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations
* Help organize and maintain self-help resources for business development and project managers to support consistent responses to requests for proposals in EMEA markets
* Build foundational knowledge of Tesla's Commercial Energy products, services, and market positioning specific to EMEA
* Assist in cultivating relationships with EMEA clients through professional communication and support activities
* Provide administrative support for one-off or complex customer requests, including gathering information and clarifications to meet specific EMEA requirements
* Support the development of EHS guidance for contracts with an EMEA focus to help minimise scope gaps and reduce exposure to onerous liabilities
* Assist in reviewing contracts to develop an understanding of EHS requirements and their practical application
What You'll Bring
* Currently pursuing a degree in an EHS-related field or equivalent
* Strong interest in sustainable energy and EHS, with openness to learning about the Commercial Energy sector
* Exposure to or coursework in electric power generation, transmission, storage, or distribution is desirable
* Basic awareness of EHS regulations and electrical safety standards relevant to EMEA (e.g., EU directives, UK HSE, or equivalent), with willingness to develop knowledge of global standards such as OSHA and NFPA 70E
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different EMEA cultures and time zones
* Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, global environment
