About the Position

As part of the global Multiphysics Simulation (GLOMUS) team, this internship focuses on benchmarking a finite-element method (FEM)-based simulation tool to calculate the short-circuit impedance of distribution transformers.
How you'll make an impact
* Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory
* Basic knowledge of transformer design and operation
* Familiarity with finite-element method simulations, preferably using Ansys Maxwell
* Basic proficiency in Python
* Understanding of databases

Your background
* currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team enviroment
* Good communication skills in English and German
