Extracurricular Internship: Industry 4.0, IIoT and Digitalization (f/m/div.)

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:
This position offers the opportunity be part of the Industry 4.0 team which works for the whole Home Comfort Division with manufacturing plants all over the world. You will be part of a talented, motivated and cross-functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators. With certified training, mentorship and the implementation in real life projects, the team (and the candidate) are able to contribute to the following areas:
* Industrial IoT:
* Develop and study new IIoT technologies (wearables, digital displays, etc) to support industrial applications;
* Develop new proof of concept projects with IIoT devices;
* Develop IIoT integration standards;
* Cooperation developing a standard IIoT platform.
* Industry 4.0 connectivity:
* Create interfaces from industrial equipment to MES and IIoT platform;
* Develop and design of intelligent manufacturing systems based in machine learning.
* Machine Automation:
* Development of automation control systems for manufacturing;
* Development of automation control interfaces for test equipment and manufacturing machines;
* Design and validate new technological solutions for factories around the world;
* Test and validate the solution in a Factory of the Future a laboratory assembly line

Requisiti del candidato:

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:
* Academic profile in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar;
* Willingness to learn;
* Results oriented and proactive attitude;
* Fluent communication in English;
* Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment;
* Competent in programming languages (Codesys, Python, C#) and software development processes;
* Undestanding of IIoT technologies and interfaces (MQTT, OPC-UA, Kafka, etc);
* Good competences in systems architecture and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, OPC-UA, EtherCAT, etc);
* Knowledge in Industrial Automation topics (Industrial networks, PLC programming, SCADA, etc);
* Curiosity about new technological trends;
* True team member with proactive and dynamic attitude
