Launch Your Career with Siemens!
Starting Salary: £26,972.40
Location: London
Start Date: Summer 2025
Duration:12 months
Join us at Siemens and kickstart your career in a place where innovation meets inclusion. Whether you're passionate about tech, people, sustainability, or strategy - we've got a role that will challenge and inspire you.
Why Siemens?
This isn't just a job, it's a journey. You'll be part of a vibrant early career's community, solving real business challenges, learning from experts, and growing every day. We care about your success, your wellbeing, and your future.
What Makes Our Process Different?
No CV Bias: We're changing the game. Your CV will need to be attached but won't be seen by the hiring team until the final stage of the recruitment process. We focus on potential, not past experience.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
Join our team to connect globally, learn about the financial services industry, and build your skills in AML and regulatory compliance. The successful applicant will contribute to helping our business detect, prevent and protect it from being abused by criminals and money launderers. You'll be supported by experienced professionals and get to apply what you've learned in real-world situations. As an intern, you'll help create new processes and use digital tools to make compliance more efficient and transparent.
You'll be based in our London office, where we encourage a hybrid working model with 2-3 days a week in the office to help you learn, connect, and thrive.
Your role will include:
* You will support us in analysing, assessing, and implementing regulatory requirements such as the UK ECCTA Regulation, EU AML package and others.
* You will actively participate in the design and digitalisation of our compliance management system.
* Maintaining, updating, and further developing our internal regulations, including work instructions, training materials, and policies, will also be part of your tasks.
* Additionally, you will support the design of our internal and external presence at Siemens Financial Services.
* You will also be involved in the coordination of projects, including the creation of project documents, training materials, and minutes, as well as monitoring results and work statuses.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, if you're curious, motivated, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.
* Studying towards a Degree in Law, Economics or Business.
* You have a good knowledge of the MS Office package.
* Further IT and AI knowledge is advantageous.
* Ideally, you have prior knowledge in the fields of compliance or banking supervision.
* You have a strong interest in implementing regulations and legal requirements.
* Exceptionally excellent communication skills and an independent way of working distinguish you.
* You enjoy working in an international team.
* A creative flair for presenting information.
What's In It For You?
* 26 days paid holiday + 5 volunteering days
* Discounts on everyday spending
* Subsidised gym memberships
* Participate in the Intern Collaboration Project, working across departments with likeminded interns on a passion project of your choice.
* An induction week alongside your Early Careers cohort; build your network and get to know Siemens.
* A celebration at our Early Careers Gala when you complete your programme!
