Finance Intern

The Opportunity Sephora UK is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our FP&A team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. As a Finance Intern, you'll support the Senior FP&A and collaborate with teams across the business to understand financial performance and contribute to key reporting and forecasting activities. What you'll be doing… Assist in monthly financial reporting, analysing key trends, and preparing commentary on performance vs. forecast and prior year.Help update forecasting and reporting files to ensure accurate business insights.Support the team in gathering data for budget and forecast cycles, working closely with different departments.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and streamlining reporting tasks.Work with financial systems and tools to consolidate data for internal and global reporting. What you'll bring… You're passionate about finance, analytics, and business strategy. With a strong analytical mindset and a passion for accuracy, you'll help ensure that financial data aligns with Sephora's business goals. Your ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks will be key as you thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll enjoy collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, providing insights that drive informed decision-making. What will help you succeed… Recently completed, or will have completed by July 2026, a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work with Excel and willingness to learn financial reporting tools (Experience with Power BI is a plus).Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work with financial and non-financial teams.Ability to multitask, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A passion for the beauty and retail industry.
