This internship role within the Outsourcing Subcontractor (Assy and Test) Management organization.
Designed to help you explore the world of semiconductor supply chain, gain hands-on experience with data analytics, and understand what is really means to manage material between ST and our global subcontractors (OSATs).
As a Material Planner & Data Analyst Intern, you will:
* Work with real excel data from OSATs, and learn and design how to clean, transform and consolidate it using excel scripts or Python
* Help design standard reporting templates for OSATs to input ST unique material inventory report and liability status
* Support the creation of Power BI dashboards that visualize OSATs ST material inventory to ST for material exposure risk control
* Improve current demand vs material analyses tool, comparing S&OP forecast and demand changes with subcon's material liability claim to improve data validate accuracy
This internship is ideal if you are curious about semiconductor industry, supply chain management, and data analytics, and want to hands-on how digital tools are used in real industrial environment to support planning, decision making, and collaboration with MNCs.
You will also gain clarity on demand planning, inventory management, material liability, and data-driven decision-making, so you can make confident choices in your future career and eventually help teams and partners do the same with solid, fact-based insights
Requirements
Currently pursuing an Engineering degree, preferable in the field of Electrical, Software/IT.
Mandatory Software Competency:
* Microsoft Excel scripts
* PowerBI
* Python
Knowledge of basic SQL knowledge for querying internal systems is a plus.
