About Global Payment The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities - Build Global Regulatory Compliance Knowledge Base - Support the structuring and analysis of global regulatory requirements across regions such as Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Focus on data protection, cybersecurity, and information technology regulations within the financial payments industry. - Perform structured breakdowns, tagging, and annotation of regulatory content. - Compliance Risk Quantification & Analysis Assist in identifying and assessing data compliance risks across the organization. Contribute to defining key business and technical metrics for compliance. Leverage large language models (LLMs), data analytics, and related tools to quantify risk levels and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies. - Compliance Productization & Operations Support the day-to-day operations of internal data compliance platforms. Participate in designing compliance-related product capabilities, conducting data analysis, and monitoring key metrics to enhance overall compliance efficiency. - Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data compliance initiatives. Analyze business processes in financial payment scenarios to identify cybersecurity and data compliance risks, evaluate current controls, and provide tailored compliance solutions to ensure effective implementation

Requisiti del candidato:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Analytics, FinTech, or related fields - Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems systematically and a high sensitivity to data security and compliance risks - Self-motivated with strong ownership, good communication and collaboration skills - Proficient in English for both verbal communication and written documentation Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship experience in cybersecurity, data security, privacy, or compliance within internet, payments, or financial industries is a plus - Available for a full-time internship (preferred), with a minimum commitment of 3 months By submitting an application for this role, you accept and agree to our global applicant privacy policy, which may be accessed here: https://jobs.bytedance.com/en/legal/privacy.
