Job Description

Get to Know the Role
This role supports the Product org. The trainee will be part of a group of team that works closely with Product Managers to enable the org to ship more products, better and faster.
The Product Operations Team sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and scale, being the connective tissue between product, business, and on-the-ground teams. We accelerate product outcomes by building and allowing the people, systems and tools to grow product sustainably across the region.
As part of Product Operations, the trainee will gain experience in improving product workflows through automation, data-driven insights, and process innovation. They will understand how to identify pain points, gather requirements and ideate solutions.
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
The trainee will be involved in the following areas:
* Shadow Product Operations team members to understand their pain points in driving product rollouts
* Identify a pain point that can be optimised or automated using query tools and scripts
* Measure efficiency improvements gained from the new workflow implemented

What Essential Skills You Will Need
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during the traineeship:
* Apply technical skills, ie Python, R, MySQL to real life examples
* Experience designing and implementing workflows for the team
* Problem solving skills by deep diving into root causes and ideation
