At #TeamCPF, you're not just joining a team; you are embracing a culture of excellence, collaboration, and meaningful impact. You will play a pivotal role in empowering over 4 million members to secure their retirement, healthcare, housing needs and better navigate life's uncertainties.

We thrive on sharp minds and insightful decisions. Your ability to analyse and think critically isn't just valued; it's essential. Every choice you make contributes to our collective success.

Collaboration is our way of life. We believe in the power of effective partnerships and seamless communications across teams. Together, we amplify each other's strengths and achieve remarkable results.

Our learning never stops. We encourage your inquisitiveness and courage to embrace new challenges head-on. Your agility, readiness to challenge conventions, embrace of data-driven strategies, dedication to learning and applying new skills fuels our innovation and progress.

At the core of everything we do lies a genuine desire to make a difference. We serve our community and support each other with compassion, empathy, and unwavering dedications. Every action we take is guided by a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to those we serve.

Join us at #TeamCPF! Together, let's redefine possibilities and leave a legacy that echoes for generations.

What you will be working on

The Business Incubator and Accelerator Department (BIA) is a key player in supporting the generation of innovative product concepts and business strategies through proficient cross-functional teams. The Products and Innovation Team, part of BIA, drives knowledge diffusion and builds a culture of innovation across CPF Board (CPFB) through a suite of programmes and initiatives, while also managing in-house digital products with a strong focus on technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and a product mindset.

You will engage in early-stage, exploratory work, helping to make sense of problem spaces and figuring out together what, if anything, should be built. Rather than working on pre-defined projects, you'll be involved in shaping the direction from the ground up. If you thrive in ambiguous environments, enjoy questioning assumptions, and find the messy front-end of problem-solving energising rather than frustrating, this could be the right fit for you.

In this role, you will:

* Collaborative 0-to-1 Product Exploration: Make sense of an emerging problem space, through user conversations, desk research, and honest reflection on what the actual pain points are. Explore and pressure-test different approaches to addressing a problem, including asking whether technology (or AI) is the right solution at all.
* Early Ideation and Prototyping: Contribute to early ideation and prototyping, from mapping user journeys and scoping rough concepts to spinning up lightweight proofs-of-concept using low-code/no-code tools or AI-assisted development ("vibe coding").
* Business Requirements Documentation: Document business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks whilst tracking progress and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
* Product Marketing and Adoption: Spearhead and support product marketing and adoption efforts by preparing promotional materials, conducting product demos, and showcasing features to potential users.
* User Feedback Analysis: Gather user feedback from outreach efforts and translate insights into product enhancements or feature proposals.
* AI Performance & Sense-Making: Make sense of GenAI and agentic AI systems by exploring and supporting ways to evaluate AI performance for specific use cases. Analyse patterns across AI outputs to surface recurring gaps or strengths, and translate these into practical recommendations. Establish a shared language for talking about AI quality and stay curious about the evolving AI evaluation landscape, bringing relevant ideas back to the team with healthy scepticism about hype.

What We Are Looking For

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.

* Currently pursuing a Degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Degree in technology is not required but can be helpful.
* Some experience or genuine interest in coding, low-code tools, APIs, or AI-assisted development. Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar would be advantageous.
* Curious about AI/LLMs and interested in how they work, where they fall short, and how to think critically about their outputs and real-world usefulness.
* Analytical mindset with an interest in user research and testing. Able to frame simple experiments, make sense of information, and draw tentative conclusions.
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty, able to make progress without fully defined requirements while being transparent about areas that need clarification.
* Inherently curious, thoughtful and comfortable to communicate your views openly. Willing to challenge the 'right' answer for a given problem.
* Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.

Position is on a full-time internship basis from May 2026 to December 2026.

What you can expect
