About the job

Main responsibilities:
* Perform laboratory equipment maintenance, cleaning and calibration as and when required
* Support the general laboratory activities, including laboratory housekeeping and staging of chemicals, reagents, and consumables
* Support inventory management, contract lab management and waste management for QC laboratory
* Participate and contribute to laboratory continuous improvement with regards to safety and operational efficiency

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the internship, you will:
* Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices, good laboratory practices, good documentation practice and data integrity requirements
* Have an understanding of the role Quality Control plays in ensuring product quality and safety for patients
* Gain technical skills in a laboratory setting, including operation of laboratory equipment and maintaining inventory of chemicals and consumables
* Gain experience in QC laboratory workflow and processes

About you

Technical skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability in scientific/ investigative report writing
* Basic understanding of pharmaceutical plant operations and test methods

Soft skills:
* Fluency in English speaking and writing
* Ability to communicate well and collaborate with others
* Problem solving and critical thinking
