General information
As R&D mechanical Engineer, you will join the Hitachi Energy Engineering community at our Zaragoza (Spain) location. In this role, you will be part of our multidisciplinary R&D Team, contributing to the development and optimization of technologies related to the mechanical performance of dry-type transformers.

As a member of a highly skilled Technology Center, part of the global Hitachi Energy R&D community, you will participate in projects, working closely with internal experts to support the successful execution of our technology roadmap.

Your responsibilities
* Execute standardization projects to cover factories globally.
* Analyze the current design and processes of all factories and propose new ideas to improve productivity by introducing new technologies.
* Support other RD colleagues with materials and documentation management
* Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Your background
* Senior student or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering
* Understanding technical documentation and drawing
* Ability to make technical judgements in a field of expertise
* Knowledge of 3D modelling (will be a plus)
* Familiar with document management systems (will be a plus)
* Team working attitude, solution-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
* Initiative, creativity and great attention to detail
* Collaborative and solution-oriented approach
