Your impact

As part of our growing Cybersecurity team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that help strengthen our Cybersecurity posture. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Insider Risk Analyst Intern to join our GRCA (Governance, Risk, Compliance, & Assurance) Team.

As an Insider Risk Analyst Intern, you will assist in addressing gaps in inside risk monitoring and alert triage. You will work in identifying Insider risks, implementing data protection controls, and implementing security measures. This internship offers valuable experience in the practical application of Cybersecurity concepts, working with cutting-edge technologies, and learning from experienced professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

* Triage Microsoft Purview insider risk alerts and correlate signals
* Draft and maintain technical guides/runbooks and knowledge articles
* Leverage Copilot to accelerate analysis and documentation

Here's what you'll need

* Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
* Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices, including networking, firewalls, encryption, endpoint security, MFA and vulnerability management
* Understanding of data protection and risk concepts
* 3.0 GPA or higher

Ideally, You'll Also Have

* Prior internship or relevant project experience in Cybersecurity or IT
* Prior experience with Microsoft Purview
* Familiarity with using Copilot
* Interest in writing technical guides

The base salary range for this position is $45,000.00 to $65,200.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
