Alstom has openings for interns in its West Mifflin PA locations in various functions.

Responsibilities:

Specific activities will vary by assignment, but can include:

* Responsibility for cross-funtional project assignments, research, and analysis

* Conducting special studies in conjunction with a project, analyzing data, and making recommendations based upon studies

* Documentation and testing

* Drafting and delivering presentations

Qualifications:

Wide ranges of majors will be considered based on specific needs of departments, such as:

* Industrial Engineering

* Mechanical Engineering

* Manufacturing Engineering

* Aerospace Engineering

* Engineering

* The ability to work individually as well as contribute to a team project

* An aptitude and passion for solving complex technical problems according to assignment function

* Strong written, verbal, analytical, Excel and interpersonal skills required

Desired Characteristics:

* Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism

* Strong computer skills, to include proficiency with Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Power BI

* Demonstrated accountability in assignment completion

* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and proactively take on new assignments and challenges
