Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will collaborate daily with Manufacturing Engineers, Process Technicians, Assembly Leadership, and Assembly Operators to ensure production goals are met. This role is designed to support production teams in daily production, to develop processes, troubleshoot equipment, optimize operations, and special projects.

Responsibilities
* Set up & support MES systems for the manufacturing of snowmobiles, engines, and drivetrain components.
* Collaborate with Tool & Die Department to maintain current tooling as well as design and build new tooling to assist in the manufacturing process.
* Work with technicians to improve automated equipment to increase efficiency and utilization
* Collaborate with Tool & Die Department, Manufacturing Engineers, and Technicians in the deployment of automated equipment
* Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment when required to minimize production downtime
* Maintain PLC recipes to ensure the quality and manufacturing standards are met
* Assist in equipment relocation, set up, and validation
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S and safety standards
* Assist others and fill in for absenteeism in assembly positions
Experience & Skills
* Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo Parametric)
* Strong analytical, problems solving, and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial, or manufacturing environment
Education
* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $23.50 to $31.50 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
