Your role

Interested in working in finance, working on compliance projects, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Technology Summer Internship Program.

You'll get to

* gain hands-on experience with UBS in-house AI tools to access data and create applications using GenAI
* collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to improve our digital products
* learn and apply AI tools to support awareness sessions across team

Your team

You'll be working with one of our teams in Zurich as part of the Group Chief Compliance and Operational Risk Control organization. We are working in global teams and focusing on the agile way of working. We bring along a lot of enthusiasm and collaboration is our keyword. We are fully dedicated to support each other in reaching our quality goals.

Your expertise

We're looking for a candidate who

* is currently enrolled in studies, preferably in a MINT topic, and will graduate in late 2026 or 2027
* has values that align with ours hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
* is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
* is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
* has good programming skills in Java/Spring AI/Python
* has a basic understanding of GenAI or NLP applications (e.g. LLM fine-tuning, RAG, LangChain, or similar)
* has a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
* has strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
