Granada, Spain Course: 2 weeks, 5 hours/week, homestay, July 2007
Overall
The host family house was placed relative apart from the town. Apart from that classes were great and we even got some preparation for the Cambridge Exams, although it was not a preparatory course.

Madrid, Spain Course: 4 weeks, 20 hours/week, homestay, July 2014
Overall
I feel cheated. The all inclusive English courses they sell does not correspond to the reality. Don't care about conditions of students living in families and refuse to refund me for the part of the course unused.
I've been trying to resolve this issue since last summer with EF and I only receive elusive responses. Last summer we paid 2.6535 Euros to EF in Madrid, for a 4 week English course in Cambridge with accommodation on a family for our daughter. Airfare apart.
First, the family chosen by them, even after reluctance and complaint before she left for the course was like a hostel, apart from their home and the food was left on a fridge once a day for the students to cook on a small stove. Without mentioning the tiny bathroom for all the students. Second, there was no one from EF to pick her up at airport. Thrid, no one from Ef or the owners of the house explained her how to go to class. Forth: no one from EF Cambridge cared or called her or us when she couldn't attend clasess. After 5 days, I had to take my daughter back to Madrid and EF refuse to refund me for the 3 weeks left., 1950 Euros.
