Join our Brazilian team and take part in a major project! Position Purpose The Agronomic Research Coordinator oversees and manages all aspects of agronomic research projects. This includes planning and coordinating the initiation of research study protocols, ensuring that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, and serving as the main administrative liaison for the project. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Coordinating and Administering Research Activities: Assist in project planning, and ensure pre-established work scope, study protocol, and regulatory requirements are followed. * Recruiting and Coordinating Research Subjects: Recruit and coordinate research subjects as appropriate and serve as the principal administrative liaison for the project. * Overseeing Administrative and Staff Services: Oversee and coordinate the provision of administrative and staff services to investigators and develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. * Planning and Coordinating Research Study Protocol: Plan and coordinate the initiation of the research study protocol and establish operating policies and procedures. * Promoting Research Capacity Building: Promote research capacity building among community-based organizations and student groups. * Preparing Research Ethics Board Applications: Prepare research ethics board applications and implement and maintain data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol. * Coordinating the Collection and Analysis of Research Data: Coordinate the collection and analysis of research data. * Supervising Support Services: Supervise and coordinate the provision of support services to investigators and researchers. * Monitoring Research Activities: Monitor the progress of research activities, develop, and maintain records of research activities, and prepare periodic and ad hoc reports as required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies. Ihr Profil:

Requirements * A bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field * Master's degree, and knowledge in research. * Relevant work experience in the field of agriculture, particularly in conducting research. * Experience in project management, data analysis, and report writing is often required. * Good command of Portuguese and English Skills and Abilities * Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data. Project Management * Strong management skills to oversee various daily tasks like time management, personnel/study team management, finance management, and resource/material management. * Effective communication skills for coordinating with all the study personnel. * Good decision-making skills for implementing appropriate decisions considering factors like benefit vs. loss, and cost vs. time. * Active learning skills for proper execution of trials under applicable guidelines and study protocol. * Negotiation skills for highlighting the concerns related to study costs and finances allocated to the site. * Monitoring skills for assessing the performance of site team members to take the corrective actions required. * Multi-tasking ability to perform various tasks simultaneously and effectively. * Patience for dealing with delays or issues that may arise during the research process
